FRIENDS OF HOLY CROSS

The Friends of Holy Cross is made up of representatives from the school staff, parents and local community. Their aim is support the children of the school by raising funds that help contribute to extra-curricular events, trips and special treats. 

The Friends are currently fundraising towards developing the area at the back of the field into a wild/ growing area that can be used to enhance the children's learning across a number of subjects. As well as this the friends have funded the children's Christmas Trip to Holkham Hall, Christmas presents, and Easter Eggs. 

Events are held throughout the year - the Easter bingo raised over £500, thank you to those that attended! The Village Yard Sale and Scouts Car Boot raised over £200 for the Friends, thank you to the local community who supported this event and the recent Summer Fayre which raised a further£284.05 . Keep an eye out for events in the Autumn Term.

The Friends also have a supply of uniform in the foyer for sale, 50p for unlogoed uniform and £2 for looed jumpers/ hoodies/ t-shirts. Do come and have a look if you are in need of uniform for your child.
