SCHOOL MEALS

At lunchtime children can choose whether to have a hot or cold dinner, or bring a packed lunch from home. Hot dinners are provided by Aspens and transported to the school from the main kitchen at St Martins at Shouldham. Menus are available from the office, sharing the choices from which the children can choose. Dinners need to be ordered on ParentPay a week in advance.

The cost of school meals are £2.41 per day. Payment should be made on a weekly basis to the school office. Reception, Year One and Two are entitled to a universal free school meal.

Children can bring their own packed lunch if they prefer. We encourage the children to think about what they bring in their packed lunch and ensure these are part of a healthy balanced diet; sweets/ chocolate bars, fizzy drinks are discouraged.

We encourage the children to bring to school a drink in a water bottle, this should be water but can be diluted squash or flavoured water only. All children are provided with fruit for a snack at break time.
