Welcome to Scott Class

We are a vibrant and exciting Year Five and Six class taught by Mrs Moore, and we are supported in our learning and personal development by Miss Thorne and Mrs Brant.

In Scott Class, we are becoming confident using a wide range of skills across the curriculum and are constantly extending our application of these.

We enjoy our wider curriculum learning and are looking forward to an exciting range of History topics this year. Our journey will take us from The Birth of the British Empire, to learning about the Industrial Revolution and the Victorian era before finishing with World War II and the Suffragettes.

Geography will take us on a journey across the world as we learn about the work of cartographers as we develop our spatial sense and map skills before jetting off to Australia and New Zealand later in the year.

We use ICT to support and extend our learning, as we continue to be responsible, independent learners. We are developing our confidence in expressing ourselves and our ideas in many ways.

PE will be on a Wednesday and swimming on a Friday, so please remember your PE kits and swimming kits on those days. However, PE kits must be in every day please.
